Fundamental systems and processes will be evaluated objectively to enable office managers/owners
feedback on their clinic’s efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

Clinic facility and designated time for meeting with office manager/owner(s).
Course Description:
Is it time to hit the reset button on your practice? The changing landscape in dentistry with complex cases, the era of implant management, integration of technology, dental medicine and the paperless world requires different systems and processes. How is your practice measuring up to change? This analysis is unique, as it is not generating a report versus providing feedback on the true operations of a clinical day in your practice. Direct observation and data collection will be compiled in a succinct organized manner so that a clear unbiased summary will demonstrate areas of opportunity. For
your convenience, the summary is provided to the office manager/owner the same day of the analysis.
OBJECTIVES of the ANALYSIS:
Upon completion of this analysis, the office manager/owner will be able to:
- Understand how dissecting charts prior to the morning meeting will uncover treatment plans and capitalize on each shift.
- Realize how a preliminary exam executed by the hygienist will set the stage for a successful comprehensive exam by the doctor.
- Appreciate why a structured 12-step exam/hygiene appointment and 7-step doctor update are imperative.
- Ensure patient’s dismissal and template clearly addresses their next step.
- Measure INDIRECT productivity and initiative from each clinician daily.
